The witness and a relative were walking back to their car after fishing at night when they heard movement in a nearby treeline paralleling them. The sounds stopped and started with them, and the witness exchanged whistles back and forth with the unseen source for about ten minutes. They never saw what made the sounds.

Two companions were walking in a rural area at night and noticed something following them for an extended distance while hearing movement in nearby brush. Only the companion reportedly saw the figure, described as a very tall biped that emerged from the tree line at close range. He did not mention it at the time and told the other walker about it years later.
