Footprint found in the snow near Francesville
The witness was walking with friends when the group found a single bare footprint in melting snow. They told the witness's parents, returned with a tape measure, and photographed the print, which measured 13 to 14 inches long and looked wide. No creature was seen, and the print was described as heading back toward the woods.

During a family weekend at riverside cottages, a group of children playing outdoors screamed and pointed toward the dense woods. Adults who ran outside reported seeing a tall, dark-haired biped walking away toward the treeline, with an additional young witness seeing only its back as it entered the woods. An adult aimed a rifle but lowered it without firing, later saying he feared it might be a person.
