Road crossing and a close call with a vehicle during the day outside Hanson
The witness was driving in heavy rain in the early afternoon when a large hair-covered figure entered the road to cross. The figure nearly collided with an oncoming minivan, twisting and raising its arms to avoid contact before continuing into dense woods. The witness braked, stopped, and later checked the treeline but saw nothing further.

Wood Knocks Heard Near Assawompsett Pond
The witness was walking down a woods road when three loud knocks were heard from brush to the left. The witness knocked back on a pine tree and received a two-knock reply, followed by another striking sound from the opposite side. The witness later found a wooden club and holes near a pond, and found a pile of feces on the trail when returning the next day.
