Pre-dawn sighting by a deer hunter in his truck near Elkhorn
The witness had parked his truck on a ridge road before dawn to deer hunt. After hearing coyotes, he got back in the truck and then saw a tall hair-covered human-like figure emerge from the woods beside the truck. The figure paused facing the truck, then walked around it and left down the point out of sight. The witness stayed in the truck until daylight, then found skid marks where it descended but no footprints.
Hunter has sighting from his deer stand near Detroit
The witness was deer hunting from a tree stand in the early morning when loud footsteps were heard in a nearby pasture. Standing to look, the witness saw a large hairy figure about twenty yards away walking quickly with a long stride. The figure was estimated at 6 to 7 feet tall, dark rusty brown, with broad muscular shoulders, long arms and no apparent neck, and it never looked toward the witness.

In April 2005 the witness was looking out a doctor's office window toward a rock cliff when he saw a tall, thin brown creature. The creature walked slumped over on two legs, moving three times between the cliff edge and the treeline before disappearing. A second person in the office also saw it, but it was gone before others could be shown it.
Evening sighting by couple near Latham
The witness and a companion went to check on a relative's property and found a partly full burn barrel tipped over. While crossing the yard to prop the barrel upright, they heard brush breaking and saw a very tall hairy creature with long arms staring at them near the woods. After the witness shouted, the creature turned and walked slowly toward the woods with long strides and swinging arms, and the pair ran to their car.
Several people witness 7 to 8 foot tall creature on an old mining road
A group of eight people were raccoon hunting with dogs when the dogs returned frightened with tails tucked. Shortly after starting to drive out, they saw a huge standing figure ahead of the truck estimated at 7.5 to 8 feet tall and dark in color. After backing up and later returning on foot, they found a large human-like footprint in mud in the road. They heard sticks breaking, left quickly, later returned to find the track destroyed by their vehicle, and subsequent visits produced no further sightings.

The witness was driving to work westbound on US 460 east of Shelbiana in the morning when a tall, hairy biped came from the river side, went over the guardrail and took two steps across the two-lane highway. The creature looked directly at the witness before disappearing into woods and a ravine on the other side. The witness drove on, turned around to look again, but it was gone.

While camping, the witness rode an ATV to the back of a farm to gather firewood and noticed a strong odor near a creek. There they saw a large ape- or bear-like creature in a squatting position that made eye contact for about 30 seconds before jumping up an 8-foot bank and running away. The witness returned to camp, then revisited the site with a companion that evening and again the next morning, but flooding prevented finding footprints.
Creature seen stepping over four foot barbed wire fence near the town of Louisiana
The witness was walking alone east along a rural road at dusk when a strong foul odor appeared and a tall figure was seen at the edge of a pasture. The figure watched the witness, matched movements, and approached, then chased the witness who fled to a farmhouse porch. The creature eventually left toward the pasture with farm dogs chasing it, and the witness hid until a companion arrived.
