While riding bikes on a sunny day, the witness and a companion saw a large bipedal creature come out of wooded cover and cross the road ahead of them. The creature paused, turned to face them as they approached, then continued across and disappeared into thick cover. When the riders reached the crossing point they found nothing and rode home frightened.

The child ran back across the creek, looked back, and watched the figure look, then turn and walk uphill out of sight.
