RECENT (10/05/2024): Close range 6AM sighting by truck driver 15 SW of Peoria
The witness was driving a truck early in the morning when the headlights illuminated a tall, furry figure near the edge of the highway. The figure was facing across the road as if preparing to cross. The witness described it as about 8 feet tall with large yellow-orange glowing eyes.
Possible footprint found near Peoria
The witness was walking along a creek bed in heavily wooded terrain when they found a very large footprint with five distinct toes. After photographing it with makeshift scale items, they heard movement and a large branch being twisted on the hillside and left the woods. An investigator later visited the site with the witness and summarized the track as a 17-inch-long left-foot impression.

The witness was hunting with a dog on a sunny afternoon when the dog became agitated and a strong odor was noticed. The witness heard grunt-like noises followed twice by a loud scream or yell, plus cracking and movement in trees and brush, while the dog returned frightened with raised hair. After driving to a more open area across a shallow creek, the witness found two very large barefoot-like footprints that seemed too large and out of place to be human.

The witness was resting on a log while deer hunting when a tall figure crossed through a clearing about 120 yards away. The figure did not look at the witness and walked quickly out of sight. The witness was alone after splitting from three hunting companions who did not see it.
Tracks near Princeville, Illinois
The witness returned the next day with a relative and found about six large footprints scattered within fifty yards along the creek in the same area.
