Late night sighting by motorists on US 33 / St Rt. 55 in Seneca Rocks Nat. Rec. Area
Late at night the witness was driving with a companion toward a fishing and camping area when furry upright beings appeared in the roadway in front of the vehicle. The witness saw two beings while the companion reported a third walking ahead, and the beings looked at the vehicle before diving headfirst into roadside brush. The sighting lasted only seconds, after which the witnesses decided not to camp.
Recollection of a daytime road crossing near Upper Tract
On a clear sunny afternoon in August 2002, the witness was commuting to work when a reddish-brown creature with long arms emerged from the woods. The creature crossed the road in about three steps, glanced toward the witness, and continued up the opposite bank. The witness later estimated it at seven to eight feet tall and much bulkier than a 6'1" person.
Witness sees a large creature crossing the road
The witness was driving early on a snowy January morning near Rt. 55 in the Seneca Valley when they noticed a very tall, dark, fuzzy ape-like creature standing upright just off the road. The creature then stepped into the road, and the witness swerved to avoid hitting it.
