Two rabbit hunters witness large, upright, hairy creature near the Pecos River late at night

Two people who were working while talking and looking for rabbits reported seeing a large upright hairy creature they said was not a person. They described it as very mobile and said it jumped a four-foot fence with ease, estimating its weight at 450 to 500 pounds. They reported finding footprints the next day but taking no photos because they had no camera.
