Early evening sighting by two women hiking in Bailey
Two women on an evening hike heard a loud branch break and saw a large bipedal figure running parallel to them through the forest and down a hill. They watched it for several seconds as it moved very fast with long strides and a forward lean, making no running noise despite dry ground cover. Both described it as tall, bulky and covered in dark grey to black hair, concluding it matched a bigfoot and was not a human or common animal.

The witness was driving with a companion from Yellowstone's east gate toward Cody after dark when a dark, large bipedal figure crossed the road in front of the van in about two strides. Both occupants joked about having seen a sasquatch and attributed it to tiredness, continuing without turning back. The witness recalled the moment later after reading about a cast and hotspot reports.
Day hiker sees large, hairy animal which seems to follow him
The witness pulled off a highway west of Cody in late afternoon to hike north through timber and rocky outcrops. Over about an hour the witness heard rocks rolling, brush breaking and movement that seemed to follow and stop with them. While returning toward the road the witness turned to see an upright, brown, long-haired animal about 60-70 yards away that immediately leapt into dense timber. The witness was uncertain whether the sounds and sighting involved the same animal and noted a bear as a possible alternative, only later considering Bigfoot after finding a website.
Sasquatch sighting near Park County
Three friends drove back from a day of fishing when headlights lit a large human-like figure hunched by the roadside. It looked over its shoulder with bright eyes, then took a couple steps up the hill with pumping shoulders and disappeared behind a boulder. They later returned that night with a light to retrace the bend but could not relocate the spot or find tracks.
