The figure reportedly popped up from behind a fallen tree rootball and walked quickly downhill toward the river. The witness glimpsed it twice from different angles, seeing only the shoulders and head.

A couple parked off a dirt road in a Florida state reserve and walked around, turning back from a lower swampy area. After returning to a dirt path, they heard loud banging like hitting trees that alternated back and forth between two directions. They listened briefly, could not explain the purpose, then walked back to the car and left.

Late at night the witness was driving alone on a toll road toward the airport after slowing for a delayed flight and rain. About 10 feet from the roadside the witness saw a very large silver-grey coarse-haired figure with a very broad back and very wide shoulders moving very fast away from the road toward a fence, hunched or bent over. The witness stated it was unlike deer, turkey, hog, cow, bear or human commonly seen in the area.

The witness was riding in a car crossing the St. Johns River on Highway 50 in the early evening when she glanced toward the river. She saw a large brown upright figure walking away from the water's edge, taking several large steps with noticeable arm swing. She perceived it as uniformly colored with no visible clothing and much taller than a human, and told her companions about it only after arriving at the restaurant.

The witness was attending a daytime work meeting at a remote construction site southeast of Orlando when he noticed movement along a distant tree line. He watched a large hair-covered bipedal figure peek from behind trees as if observing the group, then walk away on two legs after a couple minutes. Shortly after the meeting he inspected the spot and found crushed undergrowth and a trail, estimating the figure's height at about eight feet by comparing to tree limbs. No other members of the group appeared to notice the figure.
Late Night Sighting by Motorist near I-10
The witness was riding as a passenger with a relative driving home when they first noticed a large crouched figure by the roadside. After turning around and losing sight of it, they saw a tall, dark reddish-brown shaggy upright figure cross the road ahead of them in two steps. The figure moved quickly, did not look at the cars, and disappeared into roadside bushes, after which the witnesses left the area.

The witness was riding as a passenger south on the turnpike near the Ocoee exit around noon when he watched a large brown-covered biped walking the same direction in a swampy meadow about 100 yards away for 5 to 10 seconds. The figure had an odd gait, uniform dark brown color including the hands, no identifiable clothing, and a pointed head with little visible neck. His wife was driving and did not see it, and he remained uncertain whether the figure was human.

Throughout spring 2004 the witness and several neighbors repeatedly heard what sounded like a bipedal creature walking through woods at night, often while area dogs barked intensely. Plants outside the witness's window were found repeatedly flattened and scratching was heard on a neighbor's house. In May the witness heard a loud distant scream described as a classic Bigfoot scream. The disturbances stopped abruptly in July.

The witness then saw a wide mass of long shiny fur rise near the bank and run away through dense woods, snapping small trees. The odor lingered so strongly the witness held breath and paddled away for fresh air.

The witness was riding as a front-seat passenger with two companions driving slowly on a winding park road at night with high beams on. The witness saw a large upright hair-covered being run across the road in front of the car and climb the bank into dense thickets. The driver saw movement but not details, and the occupants heard sounds of it moving upslope through leaf litter before it disappeared.

The witness was awake alone inside a pop-up camper at night while relatives were away and two children slept. She heard very loud heavy breathing and growling immediately outside an open window about seven feet off the ground. She shouted for it to leave, the sound stopped at once, and the children woke. She later inferred the source must have been 7 to 8 feet tall and believes it may have been a Bigfoot looking into the camper.

Late one night the witness was sitting on the porch at home alone with a dog when something was heard breaking through brush. The witness went inside for a rifle, heard the thing move to the back of the house and try the door, then fled through an orange grove, fell into a swamp and lost the rifle. After looking back and seeing a creature, the witness reached the road and got help, and friends later found the back door torn off.
Scream exchanges heard by camper on Appalachian Trail near Greenwood Lake
The witness hiked to a bedrock outcropping to camp overnight. Around midnight the witness awoke and heard a loud high-pitched scream from about 100 yards away. The witness shouted back and exchanged screams for about an hour, including screams later heard from a different direction, while throwing gathered stones toward the sounds. In the morning the witness found dry leaves in the sound area and was puzzled at hearing no movement noise.

The witness and a cousin were parked late at night beside a playground near a small lake and woods after driving home. The witness, still in the car, saw a huge dark fur-covered figure standing nearby in dim light. When the witness opened the door and the car was started, the figure moved off to the right as they drove away toward their neighborhood. They briefly returned to look for it but found no trace.
