The witness was driving in daylight fog when he saw a large dark figure standing in the road ahead. As his car approached with headlights on, the figure crossed into a grassy ditch and then into the woods about 10 feet from the road. He slowed to 5 mph while passing but found no trail or driveway where it had gone.
Night Time Sighting by Motorist - South of Lupton
The witness was driving at night on a road through a swamp area when headlights revealed a large hairy biped standing in the road. As the witness braked and approached, the figure appeared on the roadside about 10 feet from its original position without being seen to move, then vanished toward the swamp. The witness stopped within about 20 feet and described the figure as about 7-8 feet tall with dark hair tipped with silver-grey and a deep chest.

The witness stopped on a gravel road while driving home from a hunting trip and heard a loud high-pitched screech. The witness then saw a dark figure on a hill ahead and watched it cross the road in the vehicle headlights. The figure was described as hair-covered and moving with animal-like movements before disappearing into trees. The witness did not look for tracks and drove away quickly.
