Two geologists were sampling exposed rock near a creek after morning hunting gunfire had stopped. The witness heard rustling, turned, and saw a reddish-brown hair-covered entity hanging by long arms from a low branch over a bridge about 200 to 300 feet away. After about 10 to 15 seconds it dropped behind the bridge out of view and was not seen again. The companion saw nothing, no traces were searched for or found, and the witness remained unsure the sighting was genuine.
