Motorist sees a roadside creature run uphill into the forest near the Sandy River
A driver rounding an uphill hairpin turn noticed a tall hairy human-like figure standing behind trees on the hillside above the road. The figure turned and ran uphill through steep brush with remarkable speed and disappeared within seconds. The driver called a relative, returned to the site, spoke with officers there, and later documented the area on video.

The witness was talking on the phone in the kitchen in the afternoon and looked across the creek at a forested hillside after the dogs barked. She watched a tall, hairy, ape-like figure moving through the bushes for about two minutes while describing it to her sister on the phone. The figure then disappeared and was not seen again.
