Rash of sighting reports from multiple witnesses

On a mid-afternoon in late February 2004, a group of small children near a trailer park on the southeast edge of New Town reportedly saw a large hairy bipedal animal and fled screaming toward their trailer. The mother of two of the children rushed outside and saw the animal moving quickly away through trees. The investigator did not speak directly with this family, relying on accounts passed via tribal officials and a news reporter.
