Hikers find possible footprint on a trail in Frozen Head State Park
A couple hiking with their dogs in a state park heard a single knock-like sound and later a distant tree-fall sound. Off a creek-side trail they found a single large bare footprint that was larger than the reporter's shoe and did not replicate under his weight. The dogs acted fearful and the couple ended the hike early.
Nighttime encounters close to home near Morgan
The witness was outside behind home around 9 pm and heard heavy leaves crunching. The witness then saw a large hairy slouched figure standing under a security light watching, estimated at about nine to ten feet tall. The witness whistled several times, the figure turned to look and then walked with a long stride behind nearby trailers toward the woods.

Last summer the witness was kayaking down a creek around midday when rocks splashed near him. He looked toward the source and saw a creature kneeling like a person, which then stood, made eye contact for about 30 seconds, and ran through the woods. He noted its stride was wider than a human's and it went straight through brush. He then paddled back to his truck.
Possible nighttime encounter by a couple camping near Martinsville
A couple camping alone in a state forestry heard large movements around camp all evening. Around 2 a.m. the husband saw a tall hair-covered biped beside their SUV and illuminated it before it ran past him over a gate into the woods. Later both heard knocks and rocks striking their tent for about an hour until a large rock tore the tent roof. Next morning they found partial prints and fresh bark damage before leaving.
Possible encounter experienced by a family while fishing at Prather Lake
The witness was fishing with two children and a dog at a remote lake when they heard a loud crash and tree-breaking sounds nearby. Over the next few hours they heard repeated rhythmic knocking, noticed a strong foul odor, and saw the dog become frightened and cling to them. They also noted many small snapped trees and worn foliage around the lake. They left in the afternoon feeling watched without ever seeing an animal.

Three people were glassing for deer when they noticed a large dark animal about 75 yards away in the woods. The animal stood on two legs and moved away through a hollow with swinging arms, described as having a flat face and long brown-black hair. The witnesses were startled and tried to track it, but found no prints due to ground cover.

The witness was staying overnight at a friend's house and woke around 4 a.m. to use the bathroom. After lying back down, the witness heard loud howls from outside that continued intermittently until dawn. The witness stepped onto the back deck once but heard nothing at that moment, and neighborhood dogs were heard barking in response to the sounds.

The witness reports hearing very loud recurring screams and hoot-like sounds coming from canyons near a relative's home in northern Utah over several years, first paying attention to them while camping overnight with a young relative. The sounds are described as fierce, deep, growling and primate-like with a low-frequency component, with calls lasting up to about 15 seconds in series of five or six, sometimes followed by whoops, heard at dusk or night from a mile or so away. Other family members are reported to have heard the same vocalizations over about ten years. The witness, described as a hunter familiar with native animal sounds, found alleged bigfoot recordings similar but not exactly the same.

The witness was out running in the evening to get in shape and stopped at a road. He saw a very tall, dark brown, muscular figure standing in the road watching him, saying he could see its whole body but was too far away to identify it. He estimated it was close to nine feet tall and then turned around and went home.
Vocalizations and a sighting with a spotlight near Murrayville
In 2007 the witness led an armed group with spotlights to an area where relatives had heard screams. He shone a light across a field and saw a large dark hairy figure with outstretched arms run away in a split second. The group pursued into trees hearing walking and branches breaking but found nothing.

The witness was driving home on back roads in the afternoon when he noticed a large dark head at the edge of a cornfield. After stopping, he watched a tall, dark, muscular, hairy figure walk across the road and disappear into corn on the other side. He then left the area without watching further.

The witness and her husband were driving on a narrow gravel road looking for deer in the early afternoon when they noticed a large brown hairy figure bent over near a pine thicket. The figure then stood upright on two legs, showing long arms, broad shoulders, and an estimated 7- to 8-foot height, before running quickly into the thicket. The pair returned the next morning and reported finding small and large footprints, hair on a fence, damaged fencing and poles, and a persimmon with no nearby tree.

The witness was sitting on a car watching tree-clearing work on a summer afternoon in 1999 when she glanced toward the treeline several hundred feet away. She saw a tall reddish manlike figure with no apparent neck standing in the shadows, and a young relative beside her saw the same thing. When she looked back after gesturing to her husband, the figure was gone.
Youth bicyclist has daytime sighting near Gravois Mills
The witness was riding a bicycle on a gravel road on the way home from a friend's house when something in the woods drew attention. About 100 yards away in the woods, a hair-covered creature walked perpendicular to the witness for about a minute before stopping beside a large birch tree. When the witness looked away to decide which way to run, the creature was gone, and the witness ran back to the friend's house and got a ride home.
Memory told of a possible sighting at night in a pasture east of Jacksonville
On a winter night in 1986-87 the witness was alone on his turn riding a three-wheeler through a snowy pasture near a wooded creek in Morgan County while a companion waited elsewhere. From about 30 yards away he watched a roughly 7-foot tall, dark-haired, roughly 400-lb figure walk across a narrow strip of pasture between two stands of woods. The figure looked toward him and then kept walking as if unconcerned.
Three teens in tree platform attract something using coyote call
The witness and two companions sat on a raised platform in the woods at night while a coyote call imitating a wounded rabbit was blown for about half an hour. They then heard something circling the platform in dense underbrush with loud footsteps and deep grunting while the surrounding woods went silent. They could not see the source at the edge of the flashlight beam and eventually climbed down and ran to a nearby house.

On a dark night in August 1977, the witness was walking back to hunting camp near two lakes when he stopped at a creek to find the trail. He heard a low growl, called out thinking it was companions, then heard a louder deeper growl/moan and vigorous thrashing and shaking of nearby bushes to his right. He jumped across the creek and ran to camp without seeing the source.
