Gold panner reports rocks thrown in frequent sighting zone within Uwharrie National Forest
The witness went alone to a friend's creek property to pan for gold. After a couple hours he stopped for a break and heard commotion moving through the treetops, then saw a football-sized rock fly over his head and land on the far bank. He shouted toward that direction, quickly packed up and left feeling watched, and later largely gave up panning and hunting.
Vocals and thrown objects experienced by two friends exploring
Two companions hiked through dense brush to explore a quarry in the woods. While approaching and resting at the water they repeatedly heard very loud screech-like sounds and heard several large splashes in the water. As they climbed out and walked toward their vehicle, hard objects began striking the ground near them with increasing accuracy. They fled across a creek and out to their vehicle without ever seeing what produced the sounds or thrown objects.

Over three years after the main walk, the witness reports recurring being-watched feelings, crashing sounds, silence, dog reactions, chattering and screams, odors, thrown sticks and debris, and one eyeshine about 8 ft high.
