Nighttime sighting by motorists outside Grand Bay

The witness and a relative were driving at night when headlights illuminated a reddish-brown hair-covered creature sitting on its haunches in the opposite lane. As they passed within a few feet it remained unconcerned but turned its head to watch them, revealing a human-like face with dark eyes and skin. The witness compared its seated height to that of an average man and noted a slender build.
