Truck driver swerves to miss a bigfoot crossing I-15 near Scipio
A truck driver hauling potatoes south on I-15 at night drove into fog and saw eyeshine beside the road. When he switched to bright lights, he saw a large hairy biped striding across the freeway from left to right about 20 feet away. He swerved to miss it, regained control, pulled over briefly while shaken, then drove on and called relatives to report the incident.

The witness's grandfather was collecting ore samples at night when he heard heavy human-like footsteps moving around him in the snow. He then saw a large dark shape about 40 feet away. Frightened, he ran to his three-wheeler and fired a shot toward where the shape had been after it disappeared.
