The figure stood up with its back to the witness and walked quickly into the woods without running. The companion did not see it but heard movement, and the pair searched for about three hours without finding it again.
Couple hear possible knocks while fishing one morning near Lyme
The witness and spouse were fishing at a remote pond in the morning. After bringing fish to shore, the witness twice heard sets of three distinct knocks from a wooded slope behind them. No people were seen in the direction of the sounds, with houses located across the pond. The witness described the knocks as human-like and attributed them to Sasquatch despite no sighting or odor.

Late on a Thanksgiving night in 2004, the witness and his mother were washing dishes when an extremely loud impact shook the side of the house near the woods. The witness stepped into an adjacent dark room and saw a very large upright shadow moving quickly away from the house toward the woods. His mother said the next morning she had felt watched for hours, and no footprints were found because the ground was frozen.
