The witness was fly fishing with five friends in the evening when the group heard a snap from across the river. The witness claims a tall creature stood up, growled, and trees fell as the group fled to their truck, then saw the creature walking in front of the gravel road watching them. The group later returned and reported finding tracks, broken trees and unusual intertwined structures.

Late at night the witness heard a very large bipedal animal moving through snowy woods to the woodline, breaking branches and small trees, but could see nothing despite moonlight. The witness and three companions were spending the night in a tent in a backyard with a small fire when they heard grunting or snorting noises for about 15 minutes. They then saw a tall hairy upright creature along the tree line at the edge of a harvested corn field for about 20 seconds. The creature looked toward them and then ran into the woods amid falling limbs and other noises, frightening them so they went inside.
