Two companions stopped their ATV in a wooded area and heard a primate-like whooping call lasting several seconds. The witness associated the sound with a recorded call heard on a television program. They searched for tracks afterward but found none.

The witness was alone at home at night when he noticed a large figure standing outside a window and appearing to peer in through sheer curtains. The figure stayed motionless and silent while the witness watched its bulk, stooped posture, one clenched hand, and eyes. After several minutes the witness went to get a rifle and upon returning the figure was gone. A search the next day found no evidence.
