The witness was driving west on a two-lane highway at night when headlights revealed three figures on the road. Two larger figures crossed near the center line and stepped over a roadside fence with ease, while a smaller trailing figure used a fence post to vault over. The group kept moving without looking at the witness during an encounter lasting only seconds.
