The witness and family were camping overnight when they heard a loud scream-howl twice shortly after a siren. Three people heard the sound, which the witness later compared to a Klamath recording and concluded was Bigfoot. The witness reported a strong fear response on hearing it and again when recalling it.
College students get approached by sasquatch and shoot at it
Four college geology students camping at night heard howling from a canyon and then saw the outline of a huge bipedal animal on the road in moon and campfire light. When the animal approached, one student fired a rifle several times, after which it crossed the road and moved noisily up the opposite slope through brush. A responding deputy examined the area the next day and reported indistinct impressions, small pushed-over trees and long uphill strides, but no blood or fur.
Drain pipes knocked down after strange howls/screams were heard
The witness reports that during winter 1978-79 the household repeatedly heard loud howls and screams late at night around their rural home. Drain pipes around the home were knocked down and many large human-like footprints were found. The tracks were later destroyed by the witness's father, and the witness interprets the sounds and tracks as a Sasquatch passing through.
