Family describes the strange activity at their former rural home near Wesley
The witness was at home with a neighboring family in late August, watching children play in the yard near sunset. A loud, powerful call was heard repeatedly from across a creek about 150 yards away, starting low and rising higher and unlike any known animal. The adults listened and later searched the creek area with flashlights but saw nothing. Afterward the children avoided playing outside near dark.
