Youths riding in back of pick-up have close observation of large biped crossing road

Two siblings riding in the back of a pickup truck in the summer of 1970 reported seeing a tall, dark-haired figure on a brushy hillside beside the road. They said they first mistook it for a tall tree stump, then watched it walk downhill in a few steps, take a long step across a roadside ditch, and stop in the middle of the road to turn and look at their truck as they drove away. The figure was described as covered in long dark brown hair with a lighter patch on the chest and red eyes.
