Bow hunter encounters large bipedal animal with a short neck and long arms

After climbing down from a deer stand and walking to the edge of a soybean field on a full-moon night, the witness saw a very large standing figure about 30 feet away near the woods. The figure was described as 7 to 8 feet tall with a short neck and long arms, and it did not move toward the witness. Frightened and carrying hunting gear, the witness left without shining a light and returned the next day but found no tracks because the ground was too hard.
