The witness went outside in the early morning to let dogs out before work. After hearing an owl, the witness heard a distant, deep, prolonged yelling-like sound lasting several seconds that was unlike familiar coyote or bobcat sounds. The sound caused a distant neighbor's dog to bark and left the witness chilled by its perceived power.

Two siblings in a vehicle in the early evening watched a small upright hair-covered creature run across the road in front of them. It crossed from an open field toward a forested area about 15 feet away and cleared an approximately 4-foot livestock fence in a single fluid leap without breaking stride. The witnesses called it a baby Bigfoot with very dark brown/black hair and said the leap convinced them it was not a person in a suit.

The witness arrived before sunrise on opening day to bow-hunt from a tree stand at the edge of a bean field. While in the stand the witness heard loud bipedal footsteps moving through dense saplings and then saw a tall hair-covered figure standing about 20 yards away. The two stared at each other for several minutes before the figure walked away, after which the witness fled to a companion's vehicle and did not return.

The witness, then age eight, was walking east along railroad tracks with a nine-year-old companion picking up rocks when they smelled a strong distinct odor near a bridge over a river. While crossing the bridge the companion pointed over the south side, and the witness saw a dark-brown fur-covered ape-like figure with very massive shoulders crouching on the east bank about twenty feet below looking into the water. After watching for about five to seven seconds, the two children ran east to the companion's home.

When she was about seven, the witness saw five hairy, unclothed figures at the edge of a lake from a hill. She fetched her parents and younger brother, and the four of them together watched the five figures swim across to oak woods on the north side of the lake. The family never saw them again and kept the account secret for decades.
