The witness was driving at night toward a relative's house when headlights revealed a very large black hairy biped near the roadside. The figure stepped into the road directly in front of the truck, took four steps across, and disappeared into the woods within seconds. The driver braked hard to avoid a collision, leaving skid marks that investigators later photographed.
