LAST WEEK (06/23/25): Close range sighting of a sasquatch by a motorist near Sturgis
The witness was driving alone at night on a highway through the Black Hills when a large dark biped stepped over a guardrail onto the road very close to the car. She saw its shoulders, chest and legs beside the passenger side before it disappeared into darkness behind the vehicle. Frightened, she did not stop and immediately called her fiancé about what she had seen.
Motorists have nighttime sighting on outskirts of Lawrenceville
The witness and their spouse were driving home in the evening when a tall black figure ran quickly across the road in front of their car. The figure was estimated at about seven feet tall and was lit by street lights and the car's headlights. The witness could not see its face.
Motorist recalls possible early morning sighting north of Mt. Vernon
Around 1991 or 1992, the witness was driving home alone about 1 a.m. when an animal on all fours ran across the road and she braked to barely miss it. In a few seconds she noted its body was level rather than sloped, its legs were distinct without belly skin, and its lighter-colored hairless-looking face without a snout turned sideways to look at her. She heard nothing because the radio was on, and found no sign at the site the next day.
