Blue River Area -Truck driver tells of oil drums being thrown about and tracks seen
A man who formerly drove a logging truck in the Blue River area east of Eugene, Oregon, in early 1973-1974 told the writer that 55-gallon drums were repeatedly picked up and thrown off the road over several weeks, attributed to Bigfoot. He added that tracks were shown to him several times while he worked in that area. He also said the drum incidents had been printed in a local newspaper.
Panicked deer, large droppings
Two witnesses watched a terrified deer go over a 12-foot waterfall while looking backward, apparently fleeing something unseen. No pursuer appeared and the deer swam away unharmed. Later the witnesses found widespread thin foul-smelling droppings and drag marks along a trail suggesting something had dragged a deer.

The witness reported finding large footprints located east of Blair Lake. The prints were said to measure fourteen to fifteen inches long. No sighting of an entity or additional details were given.
Footprints reported in an abondoned mineshaft
The witness reportedly described exploring an abandoned mine shaft with a companion when younger. They claimed to find large human-like footprints in mud under shallow water and followed them a short distance before leaving. The companion attributed the prints to a big ape he claimed to have seen before.
Man recalls campfire story
An elk hunter in knee-deep snow came across fresh barefoot-like tracks heading uphill and followed them thinking a lost hunter might be in trouble. He was struck by the long stride uphill. Near the top the tracks went over a fallen log without dislodging snow from it, which frightened him, and he returned to his vehicle and left.
