Couple is startled by a quick "road crosser" at dark just outside of Howard
The witness was driving with a companion at about 6:30 p.m. in darkness when both saw a dark human-like figure sprint across the road from north to south in the headlights. The driver saw two humanoid legs and a tall body covering the road in about three fast strides before it disappeared, while the companion saw only a shadowy figure. They did not stop, and the oncoming car was seen braking.
Motorists have night time sighting near edge of Altona
Two people driving home at night saw an upright, muscular animal beside the road in their high-beam headlights. As they passed, it moved away from the roadside and walked down into a large ditch toward a house. The witnesses described it as about seven feet tall with long, scraggly brown hair and said they could not see its face. They were frightened and did not go back to look for tracks.

The witness reported seeing a gray-haired, muscular biped standing on the edge of a ravine about 40 yards away. The being stood erect and turned its head side to side before looking at the witness, who ducked, and when the witness looked again it was gone. The sighting occurred in a wooded ravine area about an hour before sunset.
Recollection of daylight sighting as youth near Victoria
The witness and three companions were hiking on hilltops in a strip-mine area when a bellowing cow drew attention to a nearby clearing. A large white bipedal creature emerged, stopped and stared toward the witness for several seconds after the witness shouted, then turned and walked back in the direction it came from. The group ran back to their campsite and reported the sighting to adults, who did not take it seriously.
