Strange calls heard and a shadow seen in the night near Diamond Lake junction
The witness was awakened at home by barking dogs and heard loud natural bird-like cries and bark-like imitations coming from the tree line at the edge of the light. The sounds paused, appeared to shift a short distance south, then called a few more times before stopping. The witness thought they may have seen a large shadow moving with the sounds but did not go outside, planning to look for prints in the morning.

While camping overnight near a river with classmates, the witness and tentmates were settling to sleep when wildlife fell silent and a rotten stench appeared. The witness looked out with a flashlight and saw three tall hairy human-like figures with glowing yellow eyes. The group then heard grunts, footsteps, breaking branches and a howl, and felt something strike the tent. In the morning they found snapped tree branches and scattered limbs around camp.

Two companions were fishing along a river below rimrock caves and overhangs. They heard grunting sounds from a cave directly above them and later heard a high-pitched whistle-scream as they walked away. Looking back, they saw the rear of a creature described as a Bigfoot going over the top of the ravine.

Six occupants were inside a trailer at night when it began rocking on its foundation amid loud footsteps and strange breathing and rumbling sounds. Two occupants looking out a window saw only a dense mass of long glossy hair filling the view about six to seven feet off the ground. The group screamed loudly until the rocking and noises stopped. In the morning they found large handprints with thumbs in dust on the trailer roof but no tracks on the hard needle-covered ground.
