Close-range 5:30am road crossing sighting by communting motorist five miles west of Bremerton
The witness was driving to work before dawn when the headlights lit up a very tall, dark, hairy biped in the road ahead. The figure crossed from left to right at a brisk walk with swinging arms and disappeared into vegetation at the roadside without looking at the driver. The witness later returned in daylight with a companion and noted worn crossing areas on both sides of the road.

Late night sighting by motorists near Kingston
The witness and a companion were driving late at night when they saw a large upright animal standing by the road under a streetlight. It looked at them, then crossed the road, ran, and jumped down a steep wooded ravine. The companion panicked and urged the witness to leave, while the witness slowed to look and felt curious rather than threatened.
