The witness was driving home from work late at night when she briefly saw a tall, dark figure on the opposite side of the highway near a guardrail. She described it as facing away and moving toward the ditch and forest, seeing it only for a moment at close range. A coworker who drove the same stretch about 15 minutes earlier reported a deer sprinting across the road in the same area.

The witness was driving home late at night when headlights illuminated a dark brown figure in the roadway. The figure crossed the road on two legs and continued through a ditch into the tree line. The witness did not stop and continued driving.

Four young men drove late at night to find a reputedly haunted mansion and nearby infant grave. Two of them approached an iron-gated house that appeared well-kept and spoke with a very old woman in historic clothing who held a candle and gave directions using wagon trails. After hearing loud infant crying at the grave site, they drove past the house again and found it dilapidated and overgrown, though the woman with the candle could still be seen inside. The group fled and never discussed the night together again.
