The girlfriend was driving home from an overnight shift when a reddish-brown figure estimated at 7 to 8 feet tall crossed the road ahead of her from south to north. The crossing at 50 to 75 yards startled her enough that she stopped the vehicle. She was certain it was not an elk or bear but did not know what it was.
