Possible sighting of a Sasquatch on Blue Ridge Parkway at overlook near Masonic Monument

The witness and their son watched the sunset at an overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway and then got into their car to leave as fog rolled in. As they started to back up, a very dark, man-like figure ran across the road into the woods. The witness described it as too large for a black bear and not an elk, said it disappeared from view, and said they were left intensely frightened.
