After watching for about 20-30 seconds she ran to the house, locked the doors, and slept on the floor that night in fear.

The witness heard footsteps in water, loud roars, splashing, and an animal squealing but saw nothing because shoreline vegetation was very dense. Frightened, the witness moved away quietly and woke the companion, who heard part of the sounds as they left. At the marina a worker said a news crew had previously covered a Bigfoot report at the lake, which led the witness to consider that explanation.

A family of four stopped on private land to let the children play and to do target shooting in a deep ravine. A large grayish hair-covered animal lunged into the ravine close in front of the adults, paused to look at them, then leaped out and ran toward the parked car area. The family retreated to the car with the children and saw the animal stop at the brush line in front of the car.

Two teenagers were collecting nightcrawlers behind a rural house just after dark when they heard something moving down through dense briars on a nearby logging road. The witness shone a flashlight and watched a very tall, muscular, hair-covered animal move past about 60 feet away for several seconds. The pair were frightened, and the next day they used a sapling to estimate its height at nine feet.
