The witness was driving to work through the park in the morning when she saw a large hairy brown figure standing on the roadside berm before it moved into the brush. The encounter lasted about 10 seconds and she did not see its face. Later that day she returned with her daughter and found a footprint, which investigators later documented and cast.
Man has an early morning sighting near Pleasant City
Early one summer morning the witness looked out a home window before work and noticed a very large black figure moving through crab-apple trees and brush behind the house. A second, smaller black figure then moved through the same area, shaking vegetation as it ran. The larger figure stopped in thick brush and stared toward the witness at the window for less than a minute before looking toward the dog kennel and walking uphill out of sight. Fruit the witness had discarded in the yard the night before was gone the next day.

Just past dusk while camping on a bow-hunting trip, the witness went to a portable toilet near camp, smelled a strong odor, and saw a white, wide-shouldered creature staring at him from a short distance. He screamed and waved a shovel, and the creature sprinted down into the ravine, breaking branches. The next day he and his companion found large footprints leading toward the ravine.
