The witness was walking a puppy along a bikeway when the dog began barking. Ahead, the witness saw a very large dark hairy biped walking along the path shoulder for several seconds before it crossed the path and descended into a wooded gully. The witness left and returned about an hour later with another dog and found and photographed a large footprint where the creature had walked.

The witness returned to the campground with a companion and camped overnight. After turning in for the night, while drifting in and out of sleep in his tent, he heard two wood knocks from the east and a few minutes later one wood knock from the west. He told his companion about the sounds in the morning and suggested returning to investigate.

They heard repeated deep growls and saw the silhouette of a large man-like figure with a cone-shaped head and very wide shoulders walking silently up the road toward them. The opposing unit later said it never left base, and a next-day visit found snapped branches above head height but no tracks.

The witness then noticed a very tall dark figure standing by a tall chain-link fence about 30 yards away. After watching it for about 10 minutes, they saw it turn, walk toward a treeline, look back, and disappear. A daylight return the next day found no evidence.

The witness was sitting on back porch steps late at night waiting for her boyfriend when she saw a large upright figure cross the road about 150 feet away near a streetlight. The figure continued across and disappeared behind tall shrubs along a neighbor's driveway. Neighbor's penned hunting dogs then began barking intensely, and the witness went inside; her mother and boyfriend heard the dogs but did not see the figure.

They saw a large hairy creature moving away rapidly that could run upright and did not have the shape of a bear. The group ran home at that moment and never encountered anything similar again.

The witness and his friend camped and fished over a weekend at a remote creek below a ridge road. They experienced pebbles and rocks thrown, pacing, huffing, wood knocks, a disturbed fire pit and scattered poles. A large creature then came down the ridge into the creek, growled at them from about 20 yards, and left. A DNR officer later found prints, cast them, and called them bear tracks.

The witness, then ten, was riding a horse to collect cows for evening milking when the horse refused to advance, stamping and snorting. A large dark humanoid stood up from behind a small cedar tree about 60 to 70 yards away, walked several upright strides, and hopped the back fence.
