The witness was with family members in an upper field checking pumpkin and watermelon crops that had been found split open. While the group was talking, they heard a tree fall despite dry ground and no wind. The witness jokingly suggested Bigfoot knocked it over, which others laughed off.
Sasquatch sighting near Nickelsville, Georgia (2003)
The witness was riding as a passenger with a younger relative driving at dusk when a tall dark brown hair-covered upright creature came from a ditch and crossed the road in front of them in two leaps without touching the pavement. The driver was so frightened she stopped, switched seats, and had the witness drive home. The pair estimated the creature at seven to eight feet tall.

Soon after the tree fall, the witness arrived home to find a relative firing a shotgun toward the chicken coop at a tall hairy upright figure that ran off on two legs. Shortly afterward the witness found a single large distinct footprint with visible toes beside a car in muddy ground. The print was estimated at about fourteen inches long and eight inches wide.
