Evening road crossing north of Panquitch
The witness was driving at night through Circleville Canyon when headlights revealed a large hairy figure at the roadside. The figure stood and ran across the highway in front of the car, moving quickly with a smooth, non-bouncing gait and long arms, then disappeared into darkness. The witness did not stop to look for tracks.

Two hikers crossing a bench toward Deer Creek noticed a large white human-like figure pacing on a high rocky rise. It appeared to notice them and ducked behind rocks out of view. After continuing downslope, they felt watched, looked back, and saw it watching them again before it ducked down.
