Early morning sighting by a truck driver near Richland Chambers Lake

Around 1:30 a.m. on August 25, 2009, the witness was driving an 18-wheeler slowly on an oil-field lease road in Freestone County, Texas, when he noticed a hairy, big-headed creature squatting by the road. The creature stood upright to about cab height, growled audibly over the diesel engine, then ran bipedally across the road into a treeline at remarkable speed. The witness remained on site to work for about an hour, feeling frightened and alert for its return.
