Fishermen have vocal encounter on river island
Two companions were fishing a branch of the river in the morning when they heard a sound like a dying deer and noticed a very strong odor. They then heard movement and footsteps on a nearby island but could not see the source over the terrain. One companion briefly reported seeing something he first thought was a bear and then suggested could be a bigfoot, after which the pair left the area.

The witness and a companion spent the night in a rustic cabin after hiking during the day. After falling asleep, the witness awoke to repeated series of strange cries from a distance that sounded closer with each new series over about an hour. The companion slept through the sounds and the witness heard nothing similar before or since.
