The witness was looking out a window of the home when she saw a hair-covered biped in the yard about 25-30 feet away. The creature made eye contact, then moved away on two feet, crouching behind a weed-covered fence as if trying to hide before standing and running downhill out of sight. The observation lasted about two minutes around midday.

The witness and a relative were driving at night when the car headlights illuminated a large hairy figure sitting on a fallen tree beside a driveway. The relative urged the witness to drive on, and they left without stopping to investigate further. The witness later added that the figure had very long arms and a rounded head with long hair.

Two people fishing at night from a riverbank shined a flashlight across the water and saw red eyes and a large dark body in overhanging limbs. The animal stood upright, waded toward them with loud splashing steps, then turned downriver continuing to walk bipedally while making a low guttural sound. The witnesses retreated to a nearby campground where the splashing remained audible and a dog was heard howling.
