Motorist has two possible sightings on the Appalachian Hwy. near Gadsden
The witness was driving to work in the morning when a large black figure appeared about 150 yards ahead. It walked slowly across the highway, stepped over a guardrail without breaking stride, and continued down a ditch into swampy woods. The witness described it as bigger than a man with short legs, a long upper body, long arms nearly to the knees, and no visible clothing.

Multiple sightings close to Lookout Mountain near Gadsden
Late in the evening the witness stepped outside and saw a figure standing in shadow. The figure crossed a lit area in about one and a half steps and entered the woods, with a rotten odor noticed at the time. The witness later described the figure as a tall, muscular, graying-haired figure with long arms.
