Law Enforcement Officer observes large figure along river bank while hunting for deer near Pin Hook

The witness was deer hunting on foot along a riverbank in the late afternoon when they noticed a musky odor and then saw a reddish figure crouched at the water's edge apparently drinking or scooping. The figure stood rapidly, emitted a deep guttural grunt, and walked away bipedally into brush and over a hill. The frightened witness left the area quickly, running several miles back to their vehicle, and has not returned.
