Three coworkers riding in a golf cart while collecting flags passed within a few feet of a tall pale human-like figure beside the path near hole 13. They drove past, confirmed they had all seen something, and turned back; two of them saw it again peeking from behind the elevated tee box before it moved out of sight. They left, returned minutes later in an enclosed cart, and heard repeated creaking sounds nearby before leaving the area.

In April 2002 just before sunrise, the witness let her dogs into the fenced backyard. The dogs ran barking toward the fence then retreated yelping as she noticed a tall hair-covered figure behind a tree in the neighboring yard. The figure leaped sideways between trees then moved forward toward her to within about 20 feet on the other side of the fence, causing her to flee inside and lock the doors.

In summer 2005 the witness drove back from a relative's house late at night and pulled into the mother's driveway. The headlights illuminated a large hairy figure standing partly behind a dumpster at the bottom of the driveway, which looked toward the witness without moving. The witness was driving home around midnight when he saw a tall figure standing by a roadside fence watching him pass. Believing it was a man needing help, he stopped, got out with a flashlight, and started walking back toward it. A loud vocalization shifting from high-pitched to low guttural frightened him, causing him to drop the flashlight and drive away. He returned the next day to recover the flashlight and found only flattened grass with no footprints or hair.

The witness was driving south on Interstate-5 at Rice Hill in the early morning in light rain when headlights illuminated a figure crouched by the guard rail. The figure stood up, took a step or two, jumped the guard rail, and went down the embankment. The witness pulled over downhill, waited about five minutes, then continued without searching on foot.

The witness was hiking with a companion and two dogs in the morning when a large brown shape was seen moving quickly through dense understory. The dogs chased it for a few minutes and came back frightened, with one running all the way back to shelter. The witness and a companion carried makeshift torches toward the woods at dusk but turned back at the tree line. A large grey figure rushed toward them from the woods, prompting them to flee to the house. After waiting inside, they saw a large grey ape-like creature squatting in the field watching them, then retreated again. Overnight they heard commotion, and next morning found shredded torches, a belt torn with teeth marks, and dents in a parked car.

The witness was sitting camouflaged on a hillside in the early morning while scouting and hunting. From across the valley he watched a large hair-covered biped feeding on the ground for about fifteen minutes, at times standing alert to listen. After an unseen uphill sound, the creature made a metallic ping call and walked away bipedally along a cleared fence line.

The witness was camping with family in a wooded Oregon area near a shallow river and was playing outside a camper while two relatives napped. After hearing underbrush rustle and noticing a small sapling bend, the witness moved closer and saw a large hairy hand reach from behind berry brush to grab berries from about 8 to 10 feet away. The witness ran back to camp without seeing the rest of the creature and later described the hand as clearly a hand rather than a paw.
