A young resident walking home late at night from a locked campground gate along a creek was followed by a creature that made heavy bipedal splashes, approached closely and grabbed at a bag of candy, leaving a bruise. The young resident dropped the bag and ran home in shock. While recounting the incident at home, the creature appeared outside a window staring in, causing the older resident at the window to stumble back in shock.
Teenager frog gigging has nighttime encounter near Dickson
Around 10:30 at night in 1987, the witness was walking home along a tractor path on a ridge after frog gigging. At a gap by the woods line about 12 feet away, a tall black bipedal figure stood up, looked at the witness for about ten seconds, then turned and ran quickly into the woods with audible wide steps. The frightened witness ran home.

The witness was sitting with relatives in a kitchen during the afternoon when a tall, dark-haired biped was seen moving quickly through weeds at the edge of the yard. Another relative present also saw it, and the creature was then seen again from the yard as it ran behind an outbuilding and left toward fenced fields and woods. The group was frightened, did not follow, and did not look for tracks.

The group then went outside and saw it again in the yard as it dashed behind a storage building and disappeared toward a fence, fields and woods. They were frightened and did not look for tracks.
