Five people camped in a remote forest-swamp area to look for sasquatch. After they went to sleep in their tents, they were awakened a little after 4 a.m. by a very loud long yell lasting about 10 seconds from roughly 50 yards away, with coyote yelps and several shorter yells mixed in. After the sounds stopped the woods went completely silent.
Possible ongoing activity experienced while hiking a trail outside Gladstone
The witness and a companion walked night trails and noticed a stationary bright light over a ridge. They then heard bipedal footsteps from an embankment, felt watched, and smelled a skunk-like odor. While leaving across the bridge they heard prolonged crying/calling vocalizations that continued to the trailhead. The witness later concluded the sounds matched Bigfoot recordings found online.

Two companions stopped while on a fishing outing to inspect a river area. They heard large animals moving on both sides of the road and believed they had interrupted two animals crossing. One animal then charged through brush, knocked vegetation down, and a tree was heard being ripped down, followed by silence and faint hiding sounds. Neither witness obtained a visual, and they left without crossing the river to investigate.
Deer hunter reports possible ongoing activity on his family's property near Bark River
On the morning of November 15, the witness was deer hunting when back-and-forth calling was heard lasting until daybreak. The sounds were described as lower pitched than coyote or wolf and coming from nearby, with knocks to the northwest preceding howling from the southwest. The woods were unusually quiet, with spooky deer and few gunshots despite many hunters in the area.

Two people driving home separately at night each reported seeing a large shadowy figure by the highway slip into the woods about a half-mile from home. They compared notes after arriving home and realized both had seen the same thing, but could provide no details beyond its large size and shadowy appearance. The sighting occurred two days after a bizarre shrieking noise had been heard in the yard.
Possible sighting by a motorist avoiding deer west of Escanaba
The driver was turning left when deer ran across the road and the passenger shouted about something to the west. The driver only glimpsed a large dark upright shape already entering the tree line. The passenger, seated on the right side with a clearer view, believed it was a sasquatch chasing the deer.
Possible early evening sighting at a cemetery outside Escanaba
The witness was searching for veterans' graves in a cemetery in the early evening when they noticed movement to the northeast along the tree line. At first thinking it was a deer, the witness then perceived a very large, dark, bipedal human-shaped figure watching from the shadows about 100 to 150 yards away. Feeling watched, the witness backed away to their car and left.
Daylight multi-witness road-crossing sighting just outside Gladstone (MI-UP)
A woman driving home with her children at dusk saw a brown figure crouched on the highway median outside Gladstone. The figure stood up, crossed the highway in a couple of steps, lowered its arms to its sides, and disappeared into the woods. She described it as extremely fast and graceful and concluded it could only have been a Bigfoot.

The witness was hunting from a fenceline seat when cattle on both sides stampeded to the center and then south. He turned and saw a tall black figure walking north along the far fence, stopping twice to look toward him before moving on. His brother arrived about 30 minutes later from a different direction, ruling out the brother as the figure.

Around 1995 the witness was checking cattle at night in a pasture near Cooper Lake. In the flashlight beam several yards away he saw a man-like, hair-covered animal judged to be about eight feet tall and noticed a urine-like odor. After a few seconds both the witness and the animal turned and fled in opposite directions with no sound heard from the animal.
Two hunters recount late morning sighting near Hotchkiss
While hunting deer, the witness and companions stopped on a road overlooking a slope and watched several upright jet-black creatures for several minutes with the naked eye and optics. Two larger individuals were first seen in the open, then smaller individuals about half their size emerged from a draw. The creatures moved into brush as a pickup passed on a road below, and the witnesses later found only sliding marks in loose dirt on the steep hillside.

The witness and four companions were camped overnight on a ridge between a lake and a swampy area. Between about 1 and 4 a.m. they heard repeated loud screeching calls that approached from a distance to within tens of yards and circled their camp, sometimes accompanied by breaking branches but never revealing a source when lights were shone. After about three hours the sounds receded the way they had come, and the group left at first light without finding tracks.

In the fall of 1982 the witness was driving at dusk and noticed a tall hair-covered figure standing at the edge of the road. She slowed and observed it for several seconds, noting its long arms, dark face and red-glowing eyes. The figure then jumped quickly into a nearby swamp as she drove away.
