A doctor with a zoology degree drove late at night on a remote Cumberland County highway and saw deer, then large iridescent green eyes about eight feet up by a guardrail. Passing by, he glimpsed a Bigfoot side profile with heavy brow walking in the ditch, then a third set of eyes. The images replayed in his mind afterward.

A woman driving home in the evening saw an ape-like animal peeking from bushes about twenty feet away, which then ran on two legs into dense woods. She returned later with neighbors and from her car saw it again peering from the fork of a tree while others searched on foot. Officers from multiple agencies searched the area that night without locating the animal.

A young woman and her boyfriend were frog gigging after midnight near a pond when they heard steps behind them. Across the pond they saw a silhouette stand and slap the water with its hands, then both ran to the truck. She later met the investigator at the pond in the rain to show the spot.
